All exporters are required by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to complete and submit an export declaration (B13A) destined to any country other than the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands for goods that are valued at or above 2000$ CDN. The filing of this important document prior to export is the sole responsability of the shipper, as are the heavy fines for non-compliance. We strongly recommend that exporters file an Electronic B13A with the help of CAED (Canadian Automated Export Declaration) application provided by Statistics Canada. An Electronic B13A contains a Proof of Report Number with enables the carrier to ship your urgent export without delay.
